Mushroom and Broccoli Soup


Do you feel like having a warm and cozy soup? Here is a recipe for you that you will want to try! 
Soups are fun to make because they are so versatile. They bring bold and mellow flavours together which mend so well. This recipe blends fresh mushrooms and broccoli in a hearty chicken broth. Simple, yet delicious. 

Ingredients:

  • Chicken broth
  • Broccoli
  • Mushrooms (feel free to use any mushroom of your choice)
  • Salt (just a pinch)
  • Pepper
  • Olive oil
  • Minced garlic
  • Italian seasoning
Instructions:
  1. Grab a deep pot for your soup and put on high heat
  2. Once heated, drizzle two tablespoons of olive oil to the bottom of the pot
  3. Prepare two garlic gloves and mince
  4. Drop your minced garlic and Italian seasoning (two tablespoons) into the pot
  5. Cook off the seasoning and garlic for roughly two minutes
  6. Wash your mushrooms and broccoli and drop into the pot
  7. Add in your chicken broth (we used four cups)
  8. Mix well and add your pinch of salt and pepper
  9. Bring your soup to a gentle boil (low heat)
  10. Cook for about 30 minutes
  11. Enjoy!
