Grilled Steak with Chimichurri and Roasted Corn
Feeling experimental? This grilled steak recipe is perfect for you! Topping your grilled steak with a homemade chimichurri and roasted corn is the ultimate compliment. Ingredients (Chimichurri):
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic
- Parsley
Ingredients (Steak):
- Grilling steak (can be strip loin or sirloin)
- Salt
- Pepper
- Italian seasoning
- Olive oil
Ingredients (Roasted Corn):
- Fresh corn kernels
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions:
- First off, let's marinate the steaks with a pinch of salt and pepper. Compliment with a dash of olive oil and Italian seasoning
- Put the steaks to the side and let marinate for about 20 minutes
- In the meantime, start chopping fresh parsley and dicing your garlic for the chimichurri
- Use a food processor to blend your chimichurri ingredients together and let sit in the fridge to blend
- For the roasted corn, get a small pan hot and drop in your fresh corn kernels. Top with salt and pepper and get some colour on that corn.
- Time for steak! In a hot pan, drop your steaks away from you and sear both sides. Cook to your preferred temperature.
- To plate, drizzle your fresh chimichurri onto your hot steak and top with your roasted corn
- Compliment with your perfect side dish for the ultimate summer steak meal
