Quick and Easy Italian Cold Cut Sandwich
When you are in a hurry or you need a pick-me-up snack, this recipe is perfect for you! A quick and easy Italian cold cut sandwich that can be mixed and matched with vegetables, meats, and cheeses.
Ingredients:
- Bread (we used a multigrain sourdough)
- Provolone cheese
- Genoa salami
- Capocollo
- Tomatoes
- Salt
- Pepper
- Olive oil (just a drizzle)
Instructions:
- Grab two (2) slices of your favourite bread
- Lay two (2) slices of provolone cheese on the bottom slices of bread
- Lay six (6) slices of Genoa salami on the provolone cheese
- Lay six (6) slices of Capocollo on the Genoa salami
- (If you are cheese lovers like us) Lay another two (2) more slices of provolone cheese
- Top the cheese with slices of fresh tomatoes (the riper the tomatoes, the better)
- Season the tomatoes with salt and pepper
- Drizzle the tomatoes with olive oil
- All done! Enjoy!
The best part of making cold cut sandwiches is that you can add and subtract any ingredients you wish.
