A Healthy Breakfast: Strawberry & Banana Smoothie Bowl
Start your day off right with this simple and healthy breakfast recipe! Taking the basic smoothie and elevating it with easy steps.
Ingredients:
- Strawberries
- Bananas
- Vanilla yogurt
- Kashi almond honey cereal (Or any of your favourite oats)
- Apple juice
Instructions:
- In a blender, start by pouring in a half cup of apple juice
- Scoop in your vanilla yogurt (about two tablespoons)
- Drop in your strawberries and bananas or your favourite fruits (we used frozen strawberries, but tastes just as good out of the fridge)
- Blend your smoothie until all fruit chunks are blended
- Pour the smoothie into a bowl of your choice
- Slice half a banana and place onto the smoothie (be creative!)
- Top your smoothie with the Kashi almond honey cereal (or any granola or cereal of your choice)
- All done! Enjoy your smoothie bowl!
